REGNUM GUIDE HALL - House 'Rules'
Perhaps not rules, exactly, but we are in someone else's house, so to speak, so it'd be welcomed if we would all observe these little conventions. (You'd probably behave like this anyway, if you're our sort of person).
The Hall:
Smoking - none in the Hall, obviously. Please DON'T smoke out front, go out the back (i.e. through the Kitchen) and please do not leave any evidence of your habit behind. Sorry, but there's no covered area for smokers (now might be a good time to give it up!).
Parking - please DON'T park in the street and not in front of the Hall itself. The Cattle Market Car Park is only a short walk away (see Directions).
Kitchen - available for making tea, coffee, etc, but please clear up/wash up any utensils used. We'd much prefer you to bring your own cups/mugs etc. If, however, any Hall items got damaged/broken, you'd of course own up and pay up.
You'll clear up and take away your own rubbish, of course. There are re-cycling bins in the Cattle Market Car Park for bottles, etc.
Any help with clearing-up, putting tables away, sweeping the hall, etc. would be much appreciated.
It's important that we don't upset the neighbours: please arrive and leave quietly, and observe the parking and smoking 'rules'.
The Club:
Beverages - It's 'Bring-Your-Own', whether alcoholic or temperance. Please give the other performers the respect you would like to have them give you. You wouldn't even think of opening a can or bottle or packet of crisps during someone's turn, of course.
The main entrance has a very small lobby, so we don't necessarily expect people to wait outside until the end of a turn, but please enter as quietly as possible.
Thank you for abiding by the above. We hope you enjoy visiting our club, whether to sing, play, or listen.
